Insane Police Chase, PIT Move, Multiple Collisions & Shots Fired In Oklahoma [DASH & BODYCAM]
SAND SPRINGS, OK – A high-speed pursuit in Sand Springs escalated into gunfire earlier in August after officers opened fire on a suspect who’d rammed an SUV into a patrol unit following a TVI maneuver employed by pursuing officers.
The incident reportedly occurred on August 1st after Sand Springs Police responded to a report from a local business about a theft that had occurred, with the caller providing authorities with a vehicle description and license plate info of the suspects allegedly involved in the larceny.

Police responded to the scene of the Tractor Supply Company near 41st and Highway 97 where the theft took place, where employees stated three individuals had been inside the establishment pilfering various items. Responding officers attempted to make contact with the three suspects, but the trio had immediately taken off in the SUV before contact could be made.
After police ran the plate of the suspect vehicle, it was determined that the Chevy Tahoe SUV had been previously reported stolen. A pursuit took place with Sand Springs Police chasing the vehicle into Pawnee County.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol had eventually joined in on the pursuit along Highway 97 that transitioned later on to U.S. Route 412, and troopers had employed a TVI (tactical vehicle intervention) maneuver that caused the driver of the stolen SUV to spin out and crash into a railing along the side of the road.
The driver of the SUV immediately put the vehicle back into gear after crashing, running head on into one of the police vehicles involved in the pursuit.

One officer standing outside of his car opened fire on the SUV while it was ramming into the patrol unit on the opposite end, while the officer inside of the patrol unit being rammed also opened fire at the SUV. Remarkably, no one was struck by the officers’ gunfire.
The pursuit had reportedly ended near Keystone Lake in Pawnee County, where the occupants inside of the stolen vehicle fled the vehicle on foot, with police eventually locating the suspects hours later.
Sand Springs Police Captain Jody Fogleman told reporters that a Pawnee County deputy had been the one to locate the three suspects, albeit inadvertently, saying the trio were, “Walking down the road, no vehicle, a deputy stopped them to ask them what they were doing and they made a spontaneous headraces that they were the ones involved in the pursuit.”
Local reports identified the three suspects involved as 31-year-old Brandon Beaty, 32-year-old Aubrey Beaty, and 30-year-old Tiffany Delgado. Brandon Beaty was reportedly charged with shoplifting, possessing a stolen vehicle, and eluding police. As for Aubrey Beaty and Delgado, they were both charged with joyriding.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are leading the investigation into the officer-involved shooting aspect of the case.
